Comment by warlocktankIF you are new to any series yo dont start at the latest book , you start at the begining .Overall, the book is interesting to the initiated, but also frustrating. It tells us a history. It gives us insight into characters. But in some ways it leaves more questions than it answers. If you love Alexstrasza, want to know more about Vyranoth, or are interested in how the War of the Scaleborn happened, as opposed to what happened, then this book is for you.Comment by CarrotHeadOne is led to wonder who Blizzard's target audience is here. Once all of the disparate data about a character or event are pulled together and evaluated, there are going to be contradictions. Considering the current/recent political climate (particularly within the United States) and Blizzard’s stance on many of those issues, I’d imagine Blizzard to align with the following ideals:

Adult dragons can force their own young to undergo infusion/transition so long as their young lack the conscionable ability to grant or deny proper consent on their own.
Adult dragons can force their own eggs to undergo infusion/transition particularly since the eggs obviously lack any ability to grant or deny consent on their own.
In fact, eggs are probably just clumps of cells until they hatch and aren’t technically consciously aware before then, despite Wrathion’s claims to the contrary. Wrathion’s habit for aligning with conspiracy theories and crazy notions likely started with the elitists at Ravenholdt Manor, where he hatched out of his egg.
Adult dragons in governing positions (such as the Aspects) over other adults dragons can force the other adult dragon’s young and eggs to undergo infusion/transition so long as the governing dragon decides it is in the best interest of the young/eggs.
Adult dragons are the most protected class of dragons their is, so long as they have convincingly demonstrated their ability to maturely grant or deny their own consent.
Adult dragons who have not undergone infusion/transition themselves clearly lack the wisdom and experience necessary to weigh in on the infusion/transition of others, and therefore their opinions should not be tolerated on the matter unless they are supportive of the matter.
Adult dragons which actively campaign against infusion/transition or that speak out against draconic authority (such as the Aspects) are clearly a menace to draconic society as a whole and should be persuaded to abandon their misguided views. If they refuse to comply, disciplinary action or punishment to an appropriate degree becomes necessary.
