Listen to the Shikaar stories is truly optional. I made a side trip to kill an elite and was still able to catch up and finish the quest.

There is a Stout Riding Bakar you can ride on to follow along with the caravan automatically.

The Listen to the Stories part is truly optional. You can simply fly ahead and turn in the quest. You do not have to ride with the caravan or wait for it.

I present You Storyline Into the Plains. This Storyline is part of Ohn'a'Roll which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Storyline in order I done it:

1. Next Steppes - Fly to 48.2 88.6
2. Into the Plains - Move to 77.7 23.9
3. Proving Oneself - Slay Blazing Proto-Dragon 78.7 26.8
4. Welcome at Our Fire - Move to 85.3 25.3
5. The Shikaar - Speak with Sansok Khan 85.7 25.3
6a. Making Introductions - Speak with 3 NPC - Aru 85.7 26.5 , Beastmaster Nuqut 83.9 25.9 and Ohn Seshteng 85.6 20.9
6b. Supplies for the Journey - Pick up 5 Feralbloom Pod ( around villade ) and 4 Camp Provisions ( 86.1 25.3 inside bulding , 84.2 27.1 , 84.3 24.8 , 84.3 23.1 )
8. Toward the City - Go to 83.2 23.7 and speak with Scout Tomul to start caravan, now you can listen stories or just fly 75.6 31.6.
9a. For Food and Rivalry - Kill animals around to get 30 Fresh Game Meat.
9b. Mysterious Beast - Quest start from Mysterious Paw Print 76.7 32 go to cave 77.7 35.4 and slay Konkhular to get Pelt of Konkhular.
11. By Broken Road - Now you can listen stories or just fly 69.9 37.9
12. Connection to Ohn'ahra - Get 3 thinks:
- 4 River Reeds from grass River Reeds around river.
- 8 Fowl Tailfeathers get from Jadethroat Mallard You don't need to kill them.
- 1 Salamanther Heart drop from Mudwalker Salamanther is not 100% drop i get after 4 kills.
13. Omens on the Wind - First speak with Ohn Seshteng then place 3 totems.
14. Maruukai - Go to 61.4 39.5 That will finish Storyline and You will unlock Maruuk Centaur Renown.

Even without the stout riding bakar, someone at blizz finally said "hey, what about an escort quest where the NPC's actually follow the same speed as the player speed so they don't have to get too far ahead or behind?"

Surprised that no one has pointed out Tomul's saying, at the first stop, "Circle the wagons, Shikar."

Tough thing to do, with only two wagons.

Unlike many vehicles in WoW, there is no "dismount" curved arrow for the Stout Riding Bakar. If you want to dismount, right-click its portrait and select "Leave." While you are riding the bakar, its portrait takes the place of your own character portrait.

There's something so relaxing and immersive about riding on the back of the bakar, listening to the clan as they speak of their history and their conquest. For all the places Blizzard may trip up, experiences like this are where they're at the top of their game, even after all these years. A family of Plainswalker Mammoth trudged by along the roadside, shaking the screen a little bit, which just added to the atmosphere. Very cool little design for a quest. Would love to see more escort quests of this nature, especially since the players like me can just enjoy them, and the ones who don't are able to just fly ahead and skip to what interests them.

Travel alongside the Shikaar caravan to Wanderer's Steppe.

	Listen to the Shikaar stories (1)
	Arrive at the first stop (1)

Description

The Khural is a time of discussion amongst clans. Stories are shared. While there are many centaur clans across the plains, we are all Maruuk. The caravan is ready to go. As Maruukai is some distance away, we will make stops. When you are ready to leave, find me at the caravan. Don't keep us waiting.
