We can see that these guys were passionate, cool people to be around and to create things.Now... time is money, friend !:(
Good for him! 23 years is a very long time to be employed at once company. I'm sure he's going to enjoy his retirement :) or whatever he decides to pursue. Let the young blood come in.
Guy's probably retiring as he surely doesn't need to work at this point.
For the guy that voiced " time is money, friend". He works for a company that lives and dies by that moniker in spades. But I guess its time for the guy to move on, after a couple of decades of his dedicated work in Blizzard. Best wishes for him and his future aspirations.

No it's not common for someone to leave an over 2 decade long career at a company unless they're retiring, just throwing that out there to all of y'all trying to cope with this.
