New Overwatch PvP Mode "Clash" Announced

Overwatch Game Director Aaron Keller has announced that Overwatch will receive a new PvP mode called "Clash"! Besides Escort, Control, Flashpoint, Hybrid, and Push, Clash will be Overwatch's sixth standard PvP mode.

Back in 2022, Overwatch's development team removed the Assault game mode, also known as 2CP, which was widely criticized due to its snowbally nature and lack of tactical components. With Clash, Blizzard tries to reintroduce some of the good aspects of 2CP, like keeping the "sweaty" feeling of moving back and forth between capture points.
