Blizzard

There will be more "intermediate" challenges between entering World Tier 4 and defeating Uber Lilith.
Blizzard has acknowledged the community feedback regarding an armory to switch builds and item loadouts. They have nothing specific to announce but hope to bring the feature to the game as quickly as possible.
Blizzard wants to make improvements to farming Living Steel, the material needed to summon Grigoire, more efficiently.
Introducing more social systems is a top priority for the development team, especially looking towards expansion release.
The development team is working on the problems of itemization. They acknowledge that it's "too difficult to compare items" because of affixes that are too similar to each other or too conditional.
Customizing your gear should make the player "feel the difference" after the crafting process, so the development team wants to introduce more impactful ways to modify items.
In terms of aspects, the team plans to remove aspects as an item in your inventory and put them into the Codex of Power instead.

Season 3 Details: Leaderboards & The Gauntlet

The Gauntlet will include a fixed seed linear dungeon where you can reach scores, and the highest scores will be shown on the weekly leaderboard.
Loot will drop at the end of the Gauntlet dungeon.
To maximize your scores, you will have to pick up Proves of Might.
Each week, the gauntlet will reset, so players will have multiple chances to score high on the leaderboards.
There will be solo leaderboards, group leaderboards, and leaderboards for Softcore and Hardcore.
The best players will be recorded in the Hall of Ancients, an "eternal leaderboard."
Earning higher scores will reward you with so-called seals, which will be displayed on your Character Frame.

Season 2 New Holiday Event: Midwinter Blight

The new seasonal winter event will start with an NPC called Gileon, located in Kyovashad.
In the overworld, outside of Kyovashad in Fractured Peaks, you will find icy goatmen, led by the Red-Cloaked Horror.
Rewards will include event-exclusive cosmetics like backpacks or armor and weapon skins.
Midwinter Blight will start on December 12 and last throughout the holiday season!

Season 2 New Endgame Details: Abbatoir of Zir

Abbatoir of Zir is a Level 100+ seasonal endgame event encounter.
A whole event journey is attached to reaching the end of this seasonal event, as you can see down below in Blizzard's graphic:

The abbatoir has 20 different tiers, with each tier being much more difficult than the tier before.
The event will also reward an event-exclusive Unique Glyph, Tears of Blood, in which players will also need to raise their power level to fight the highest tiers of the abbatoir.

Season 2 New Content Details: Malignant Rings

On November 7, five new Unique Malignant Rings will come to Diablo 4 Season 2.
These new rings will feature adjusted Malignant powers from Season 1 and will also be available in the Eternal Realm.

Patch Notes for the upcoming Season 2 patch will be available right after the Campfire Chat panel!
The upcoming patch will add a "Possible Affixes" button at the Occultist so that players will be able what affixes they can roll on an item.

Vesel of Hatred - New Expansion Class

Blizzard has put a lot of thought into the general class fantasy of the new expansion class coming with Vessel of Hatred.
They've eventually decided to "go for something new", so no Witch Doctor or Paladin, and will reveal the class at a later time.

Vessel of Hatred - Expansion Details

In Vessel of Hatred, players will travel to a new region that Diablo fans might know from the past.
New players starting with Diablo 4's first expansion can choose to either start the campaign from scratch or jump right into the new expansion story campaign.
Vessel of Hatred will be set in the region of Nahantu, a lush and humid forest, also known as Torajan Jungle.
In the past, the jungle was inhabited, but the wild jungle is slowly taking back the environment.
Kurast, the city many players will recognize from Diablo 2, is located in "the heart of the jungle."

Players will be able to visit the Docks of Kurast, the main city hub of Act 3 in Diablo 2!
Player will also be able to access Travincal and the Durance of Hate.
